マルコム・マクラレンは既存のメッセージやデザイン、歴史や思想をリクレイム(再利用)、リコンストラクション(再構築)し新しいアイデアを考え ることを好んだ。その傾向は自分たちの店で販売する商品に著しく現れる。一度作ったTシャツをバラバラにリメイクし新しい商品を生み出したり 、別々のグラフィックを一つのTシャツに落とし込み新しいデザインにしたりしていた。

それに倣いPEEL&LIFTで過去にデザインしたSLAVEとpre punk era、2つのグラフィックを合わせてみた。
